Hi, I’m Penny Oxford. I’m a Professional Development Coach and Organisational Development Consultant, working with people and teams who want to do their best work and recognise that they need some help to make that happen.
The centre of my business is coaching. I describe what I do as ‘professional development coaching’ rather than ‘executive coaching’, because I don’t only work with executives. I also work with people who are leading teams, leading projects, or leading themselves.
As a coach, my focus is about helping you to clarify and achieve your goals. In our conversations, I’ll work with you to generate new insights and perspectives, overcome obstacles and identify options to help you to get to where you want to be.
Coaching is a great option if you are:
Working together to find clarity and focus to achieve your goals when you are:
Moving into a bigger or more complex role
Navigating change and uncertainty at work
Needing to engage your team and boost performance
New to leading a team
Feeling overwhelmed by your workload
At a career crossroads
Professional
Development Coaching
Professional development coaching is coaching for people who work, about their work. It’s not only for executives, and it’s not about ‘fixing’ people who aren’t performing. It’s for people who want to do their best work.
Organisational
Development Consulting
I work with leaders and teams to create thriving, high-performing cultures and deliver strategic priorities.
My practice is shaped around these guiding principles:
Goals and actions
We’ve all been to courses and conferences where there’s lots of chatter, but not much changes afterwards. I’m focused on enabling you to take the steps you need to make sustained and measurable progress towards achieving your goals.
Grounded in trust
I work with my clients to build relationships based on trust and mutual respect. Our coaching conversations are confidential and guided by the International Coaching Federation’s Code of Ethics.
As a consultant, I will work with you to deliver the best, bespoke outcomes for your unique requirements. I will tell you if I don’t think I’m the right person to deliver the solution you need, and I’ll refer you to a more appropriate provider if I can.
Good eggs welcome
In my world, good eggs are people who are decent, kind, trustworthy humans. I want to work with good eggs and support them in their careers, so if you’re a good egg, send me a message.

Penny defines professional competence as an organisational development lead. Working alongside her at Central Coast Health in a time of great COVID-inspired change, Penny delivered in challenging circumstances again and again. Her relentless customer focus, leadership development capability, sense of the big picture in positioning the future direction of the function and knowledge in how to motivate and inspire people across all organisational levels made her not only a great professional colleague but also an inspiring figure who delivered high impact results time and time again. Penny is one of the few organisational development leaders who delivers not just for herself but for her clients every time.

Working with Penny is an experience marked by trust, insight, and integrity. She brings a calm, thoughtful presence to every conversation I have with her and creates a space where I always feel truly heard and supported. Her coaching style is grounded in empathy and clarity, and she has an incredible ability to guide others toward meaningful reflection and purposeful action.
Beyond her skill as a coach, it’s her character, her authenticity, professionalism, and deep respect for others that sets her apart. Anyone who has the opportunity to work with her will walk away not only with greater direction, but with a renewed sense of self-belief, just as I always do.
